## What you hand off

Claude Code sends Codemind a title and acceptance criteria. Codemind writes the code and tests it against those criteria. The files come back for Claude Code to write into your project.

Claude Code stays on planning and review. The writing and testing happen on Codemind's side, off your Claude Code plan.

## Code that fails does not reach you

Codemind checks the code against tests written from your acceptance criteria. Code that fails does not reach your session. You see what was written, whether it passed, and what was charged.

## Set up with one paste

Copy the setup prompt from the Codemind Claude Code page and paste it into Claude Code. Claude Code cannot change its own MCP settings, so it gives you one command to run. Run it, then restart Claude Code or run /mcp.

There is no sign-up and no key. A free account is created when Claude Code connects. Restarting starts a new free account, so use the quickstart on the page if you want an account that lasts.

## What it costs

No card is needed. You get 100 verified builds in your first month, then 50 a month. After the free allowance a verified build costs $0.10. A build that fails costs nothing.

Codemind builds JavaScript and TypeScript, including Cloudflare Workers, Node and React. Other languages are not supported yet.

## Send several tasks, change existing files

Claude Code can send several tasks and move on to the next. On the free plan, 2 builds run side by side. To change a file you already have, send the current file with the task and get the complete modified file back.

To check the connection, ask Claude Code to call the Codemind tool list_builds. An empty list means you are connected.
